CHARACTER THIRTEEN   V I K I N G

For the knight character I took all my influence from gimli  from lord of the rings , I just illustrated my version of a dwarf Viking and am pleased with the result .

 CHARACTER TWELVE   P R O S T I T U T E

for the prostitute character I didn’t want to follow the stereotypical conventions . I decided to make a character that wasn’t human and didn’t really look like a prostitute . I left the character naked and gave her a flue to attract the customers in . I did however give the character the typical red lipstick that people describe prostitutes with.

CHARACTER ELEVEN  C L O W N

For the clown project I chosen to look at the horror side of clowns and how many people fear them even though they are designed for our humour and entertainment. I created a jester clown that had a scary look to his facial features with an oversized head looking down on us to give the character a sense of power.   

CHARACTER TEN   W A R R I O R

For the warrior I wanted to do something a little different to a character heading to war , I decided that I would do a character that has already been to war and fallen . Thus making the warrior a completely different type of character all together. I created a skull using different images of coral reefs to show the warrior had died at sea.

CHARACTER NINE  W I Z A R D

The wizard character I stuck to the traditional conventions without over doing it so I gave him a pointy hat and long beard with a old smoking pipe , and just drawn him .

CHARACTER EIGHT    K I N G

for the king character I was inspired by the sword in the stone film from when I was a child . I love the idea of a kid having so much power and authority over everyone else.

CHARACTER SEVEN    M O U S E

For the thief character I wanted to do something a little different so I use a single line drawing to draw  the outline of a mouse . I then wanted to use cheese for him to steal but I changed my mind and gave him a human quality but having him steal a dimond .

CHARACTER SIX    B E G G A R

After reading a comment about homeless people being nothing just a drain on the earth, you feel for everyone out on there on the streets. Even though I disagree with the comment I wanted to design my  character around it but still trying to work and get of the street.

CHARACTER FIVE    A D D I C T

The addict character was a difficult one to do , I wanted to do a drug addict but when I started to research I found that when addicts have been on heroine for a long time that most don’t take heroine to get a high  but just for their body’s to function and get on with their day to day lifes without getting ill and going cold turkey . so I created an addict that wasn’t using drugs but has now become the drug .

CHARACTER FOUR   A N G E L

This character I designed and illustrated on my ipad , I wanted to make a style that would be a little different to anything I had done before so I made the classic winged angel but made her look as dark and mysterious as I could whilst trying to keep it as simple as I can .

CHARACTER THREE  A V E N G E R

for the avenger character I decided to take a character that already existed and look at it in a new direction , I wanted to make the character physically different but still have slight conventions that give him away to who he really is .

CHARACTER TWO  C H I L D   N A T U R E

For child nature I wanted to create a sense of innocence so I illustrated a naked woman covering her body in a defensive position , I then added a creature that is described as pure and beautiful , this was to show that she is part of nature and doesn’t want to live in the concrete jungles we live in .
